Will Marfuggi is an Emmy Nominated Host and Producer. Most recently Will co-hosted Quibi’s Close Up by E! News – most of it self-filmed from a makeshift set at home and in his garage during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic. Prior to his work with Quibi, Will hosted hundreds of hours of live shows as the host of Live From E! on E!’s YouTube channel and Facebook page. Additionally, he has produced pieces both in-front-of and behind-the-camera for E! News and made frequent guest appearances on E!’s Daily Pop. His long list of interviewees includes some of today’s most in demand celebrities, athletes, musicians, and actors on-set and on the red carpet. He has traveled the world covering award shows, festivals, premieres, and even the 2012, 2014, and 2016 Olympic Games in London, Sochi, and Rio, respectively.
Will got his start as a production assistant for the Style Network’s Style Court which led to an associate producer position for E!’s Celebrities Uncensored and various E! original specials. He began as an associate producer for E! News and quickly rose within the ranks as one of their most sought-after field producers.
After a stroke of luck and a charming on-camera interview with Angelina Jolie on the 2012 Oscars red carpet for E!’s Live from the Red Carpet, Will began his pursuit of on-air correspondent. In less than two years, he rapidly made a name and place for himself as an E! News on-air personality and friendly face to many actors, athletes, and musicians. He has covered post-show red carpets for American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, X Factor, The Voice as well as a multitude of set visits, premiere parties, and events.
In addition to his E! News on and off camera duties, Will was the go-to producer for Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic for all of E!’s Live from the Red Carpet award show live interviews and has been credited with producing some of E!’s most successful on-air talent. He has also worked as a freelance producer for ABC’s Good Morning America, Bravo’s A-List Awards, and the American Music Awards Pre-Show.
Born and raised in Oldwick, New Jersey, Will grew up with strong family values and ties to both his Italian father’s and Irish mother’s heritage. Will’s father was the successor to the family eyewear business, Victory Optical, a collection of classic American eyewear designs that have been in the same family for four generations. Will attended the prestigious Delbarton School in New Jersey for high school and went on to graduate with a double major B.A. in History and Theatre from the College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in television production after a brief stint as a legal assistant for an accredited east coast law firm after college.
He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, 3-year-old daughter, and newborn son. He spends his free time obsessing over Marvel movies, Bravo reality shows, as well as listening to NPR podcasts, playing video games, training in mixed-martial arts and kettlebell workouts, and riding his Vespa around town. Now with two young children, he has recently become proficient in building with Magna-Tiles, sculpting with Play-Doh, and singing songs by Raffi. He is also a connoisseur of iced coffee and chocolate croissants.
